Universal Genève Tricompax
Without a doubt, the Tri Compax is Universal Genève’s most famous model. From the 1940s to the 1960s, many variations of this flagship timepiece were produced. The name "Tri Compax" denotes the three complications featured in this watch: the chronograph, the triple calendar, and the moon phase.
This particular example, reference 222100, is a later Tri Compax produced in the 1960s. It features twisted lugs and a brushed linen dial, and at 36mm, it sits beautifully on the wrist thanks to its design and lug shape.
Finding a good example of a Tri Compax is not an easy task, as many available pieces suffer from redials, over-polished cases, and poorly serviced movements. This Tri Compax, however, retains its original linen dial in good condition and comes with its original box.
